"PORTER a PRET"


The inspiration behind Youser's 25SS collection is drawn from two dimensions: '3D, which forms reality,' and '2D, which creates the virtual world.'


"Every element of clothing functions like a painting technique."


The harmony between curves and straight lines results in a three-dimensional pattern, reflecting the coexistence of flat and volumetric forms. Each side of the garment—front, back, left, and right—serves as a two-dimensional canvas, forming the base of the design. The material acts as the canvas's base, representing both color and texture.


Seams and stitches are depicted as ‘lines’ that perform the role of ‘surfaces,’ while pleats and tucks replace shading and highlights, adding depth. Flat elements like pockets and embroidery attempt to press the garment’s three-dimensional space back into a two-dimensional form.


In this manner, the subtle order of the garment’s structural elements is creatively reimagined through Youser’s vision.

We present to the public the joy and value found in the balance and interplay between ‘traditional order’ and ‘rule-defying imagination.’
